About Me
For me, design is an opportunity to serve people. I am excited to connect with people from all walks of life and work alongside them towards something larger than myself. Helping people and empathizing with their needs is what drives me in my work.
I have had the opportunity to work both as a freelancer and in-house, supporting human-centered and sustainable business, innovations, and initiatives using my diverse design and visual communication skillset. I recently worked as a graphic designer at Ruth, a sustainable period care startup, collaborating with the team to develop the company brand and put together a successful Kickstarter campaign and website launch. Prior to that I completed an internship with the University of Alberta Sustainability Council as a video intern, supporting sustainability researchers by helping to capture and communicate their stories.
Currently I continue to support the mental-health work of Earth of Light Therapeutic Services part-time in a long-term freelance position.
